Athletic Trainer

Hanna completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Campbell University and a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration at Northwestern State University in Nachitoches, LA. She joined APTS in 2015, where she specializes in injury prevention, taping and wrapping, Kenisio taping, on-field injury assessment, and concussion assessment. When not working, Hanna enjoys spending time at yard sales and with her backyard chickens and two dogs.


Amy SmithSmith, Amy 3
Athletic Trainer

“I enjoy getting to know about each client and their interests. Together we find ways for them to feel better and stay better for the long term.”

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at Campbell University, Amy earned her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training at Missouri State University. She is a certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) and also holds certifications in Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. She is a Graston Technique preferred provider. She joined APTS in 2015 and specializes in working with athletes and active patients of all ages, particularly in the area of injury prevention. She enjoys crafting, painting, puzzles, board games and watching sports.


Bethany Stearns
Athletic Trainer

After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Education – Athletic Training at Samford University, Bethany earned her Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership at Middle Tennessee State University. She has nine years of experience as an athletic trainer and joined APTS in July of 2016. She enjoys working with athletes of all ages and with the military. Her hobbies include yoga, Pilates and barre exercise and being outside, particularly at the beach and while walking her dog.

Dorothy Morrall
Athletic Trainer

“I particularly love working in the high school setting due to the energy and passion kids have for sports.”
 
Dorothy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Wingate University. She joined APTS in July 2016. Her specialty areas of interest are taping, immediate care and rehabilitation. Her hobbies include baking cakes and interior design.

Julia Henry
Athletic Trainer

“I enjoy the opportunity to see patients progress.”

Julia joined APTS in January 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Methodist University. She has certifications in Functional Movement Screen and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Her specialty areas of practice include treatment and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. Julia enjoys working out, being outdoors and traveling in her leisure time.


Kelly Barnes
Athletic Trainer

“I love making an impact on high school athletes…working to prevent and manage their injuries.”
 
Kelly joined APTS in July 2016. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at Campbell University and her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer, a certified Kinesio taping practitioner and a registered orthopedic technician. She specializes in athletic training services to high school athletes.She enjoys working out, water skiing, watching football and spending time with her dog.
